Located an easy 20-mile (32-kilometer) drive from the town of Corfu, Sidari Beach is like two beaches in one, with the standard sand beach and the
Canal d’Amour, the latter boasting underwater caves and caverns filled with wonderful naturally sculptured stones.
The light blue water is enchanting and this is an idyllic place to swim, or lounge on the beach or the supplied beach beds under a sun umbrella. The water is very
shallow, and therefore safe for small children and weak swimmers.
A variety of water sports are played at Sidari Beach, but there are no washroom facilities at the beach itself; visitors must go to the beach tavernas to use the facilities.
When the day at the beach is done, there are things to see in the tiny town that has been a residence for human beings for about 9,000 years! Be sure to visit the village church
and central square. Sidari Beach and its beauty will give you the laid-back beach R&R you need.
